WASHINGTON, D.C., Oct. 21--Mr. Jannik Lindbaek, Executive Vice President, International Finance Corporation (IFC) will lead a delegation to the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam from October 20 to November 2, 1996.
The purpose of the visit is to consult with government and industry leaders on IFC's activities in the region and on new private sector initiatives to promote intra-Asian business in the developing countries of Asia and the Pacific.
Accompanying Mr. Lindbaek will be Mr. Peter Cook, Director of IFC's Asia Department; Mr. Jean-Philippe Halphen, Director of Chemicals, Petrochemicals & Fertilizers; Mr. Rashad Kaldany, Manager, Asia Capital Markets; Mr. Harold Rosen, Manager, Southeast Asia; Mr. Ravi Bugga, Manager, East Asia; Mr. Scott Macleod, Manager, Corporate Finance Services; Mr. Mark Constantine, Manager, Corporate Relations; Mr. Darius Lilaoonwala, Chief of IFC's Regional Mission, Bangkok; Mr. Kip Thompson, Principal Investment Officer and former Resident Representative, Manila; and Ms. Suellen Lazarus, Special Assistant to Mr. Lindbaek.
IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, is the largest multilateral source of equity and loan financing for private sector projects in developing countries.
