Washington, D.C., November 11, 2008
—IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, today announced that it will transfer the listing of its S&P 500® Market Index Target-Term Securities® due December 8, 2010 ("MITTS® Securities") currently on the NYSE Alternext US LLC (formerly the American Stock Exchange ("Amex")) to NYSE Arca. The move of the MITTS® Securities is necessary because of the merger of Amex and NYSE Euronext, the holding company for NYSE Arca. IFC anticipates that the MITTS® Securities will leave Amex and begin trading on NYSE Arca by year end.
Current investors in the MITTS® Securities are not required to take any action.
